Donald Trump’s AI Video With Cristiano Ronaldo Is Turning Heads

Soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and U.S. President Donald Trump.

U.S. President Donald Trump found a different way to make headlines with soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo this week.

Trump and Ronaldo turned a lot of heads recently when they met at the White House. The former Real Madrid star visited the leader of the United States and was even seen walking alongside him, together with his fiancée Georgina Rodriguez.

Ronaldo and his future wife also attended a black-tie dinner that the White House hosted to welcome Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The event featured several other high-profile personalities, such as Tesla founder Elon Musk, Apple CEO Tim Cook and FIFA president Gianni Infantino.

Ronaldo, for his part, sent a message to Trump following his visit, thanking the U.S. leader for the warm welcome he and Rodriguez received.

“Each of us has something meaningful to give, and I stand ready to do my part as we inspire new generations to build a future defined by courage, responsibility and lasting peace,” Ronaldo further wrote in the caption of his post.

What had many fans buzzing from Ronaldo and Trump’s meeting, however, was the AI video that the U.S. president posted on Wednesday. It showed himself and the soccer icon playing football, although the ball in the clip was clearly fake.

“Ronaldo is a GREAT GUY. Loved meeting him at the White House. Really smart, and cool!!! President DJT,” Trump wrote on Instagram.

Naturally, the video quickly went viral, drawing mixed reactions from fans.

“Worst use of AI,” a critic wrote. Another one said, “what did I just watch.”

Others couldn’t help but joke about it, with a commenter writing, “Never thought I see trump post AI.”

A fourth poster shared, “We got TRUMP POSTING AI VIDEOS BEFORE GTA VI.”

Some followers also noticed that Ronaldo liked the post.

“Ronaldo liked the post.”

It certainly looks like Ronaldo and Trump enjoyed their meeting. That being said, it shouldn’t be a surprise if the current Al-Nassr star ends up visiting Trump and the White House more often in the future.
