Angel Reese has had an incredible start to her WNBA career. In just two seasons in the pros so far, she has established herself as an All-Star and as a double-double machine.
Undoubtedly one of the brightest young talents in the league, the Chicago Sky star has averaged 14.1 points, 12.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 64 total games so far. She has set the record for the longest double-double streak in WNBA history with 15, surpassing the mark set by Candace Parker (12).
Reese has not only been dominant on the court, but also off it. She has been using her platform to grow her brand, as she ventures into podcasting, fashion and entertainment and even business and investing.
For those not in the know, Reese hosts her own podcast called “Unapologetically Angel.” This offseason, she has also walked the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway and had a cameo in the Netflix film, “A House of Dynamite.” Moreover, the 23-year-old is a known investor in women’s soccer club DC Power FC and 3-on-3 basketball league Unrivaled.
Naturally, everything Reese does often goes viral and becomes a topic of conversation, even her personal life.
That being said, it didn’t come as a surprise that her post, where she teased her rumored NBA boyfriend, quickly went viral and drew the attention of fans.
In a post on Instagram, Reese shared photos from her attendance at the recent NBA Cup game between the Orlando Magic and Miami Heat. The Sky star has been linked with Orlando center Wendell Carter Jr., and her presence at their games has only intensified the rumors.
Reese’s post fueled the rumors about their relationship, as she included a photo showing the hands of a man around her. She was also wearing a Magic jersey, with the words “My Man” printed on the back. It was considered a soft launch for her man, and many took notice of it.
“Love a soft launch,” a commenter wrote. Another one said, “Congrats Angel and Wendell you two are going to be the best basketball couple in the world.”
“She know we know but for the last time she’s not confirming or denying anything based off the past. I love this for her,” a fan added.
