“This Looks Brutal”: Anthony Joshua’s KO Punch That Destroyed Jake Paul’s Jaw Captured Perfectly

Anthony Joshua beat Jake Paul during their pro fight.

Anthony Joshua’s fight with Jake Paul not only gave him a win, but it also delivered one of the best boxing photos captured on camera.

The British boxer dominated the one-sided affair, although it lasted longer than expected as Paul limited his engagement with Joshua and used lateral movements in search for opportunities to throw punches and score points instead of risking a full-on brawl.

Joshua entered the professional fight with a 28-4 record, along with 25 knockouts, so Paul knew how powerful his opponent was and that he had no chance if he let the 36-year-old boxer fight to his strengths.

However, while it took some time, Joshua was eventually able to land the knockout blow in the sixth round of the bout.

After getting Paul into a corner, Joshua saw his opponent with his guard down and his face wide open. AJ didn’t waste the opportunity and unloaded a right hand to the chin of the YouTuber-turned-boxer.

Photo Perfectly Captures Anthony Joshua’s KO Punch on Jake Paul

While the video of the knockout punch was already incredible to watch, a photo of the exact moment Joshua connected with Paul’s chin was even better.

ESPN Ringside shared the image, showing how Paul’s head twisted to the side by the force of Joshua’s punch. It’s worth noting that Paul appeared to have broken his jaw as a result, with the 28-year-old himself believing that’s the case.

Naturally, fans were in awe of the moment and the photo itself, with one fan even saying, “this looks brutal.”

“Hard af,” a commenter added. Another one said, “That punch ended everything fast.”

A fan remarked, “this hard!”

“The punch felt all around the world,” a social media user remarked.

“This photo is impressive,” a sixth poster stated.

The ever-controversial Paul dropped to a 12-2 record in his pro career, having also previously lost to Tommy Fury via a split decision. As for Joshua, he improved to 29-4 with 26 wins via knockout.

According to Yahoo Sports, Paul landed only 16 out of the 56 punches he threw. Meanwhile, Joshua connected on 48 punches after throwing 154.
