Conor McGregor stays in the spotlight no matter what. He’s clashed with plenty of fighters over the years, and now Nate Diaz wants another scrap. Diaz is expected to return for some MMA action and he wasted no time is saying he wants McGregor as his opponent.
Apart from McGregor Dustin Poirier and Mike Perry has also been on Diaz’s list. It’s been close to four years his Diaz has fought in the UFC. Fans witnessed Diaz in action back in 2022 when he last fought Tony Ferguson.
Diaz might not be active in the UFC, but he’s fought against Jorge Masvidal and Jake Paul. However, he wants to get back in the Octagon, and Conor McGregor could be his first opponent. Diaz stated that he’s ready for real action. He also called out Poirier and Perry.
“I’m ready to get back in real action. I want to fight either McGregor [trilogy], maybe Dustin Poirier if he stops being such a p*ssy, and maybe Mike Perry,” Nate Diaz said in a recent video.
It’s clear what Diaz wants, and Dana White stated that Conor McGregor has expressed interest in the bout as well. June 14th could be the day when Diaz and McGregor face off. According to White, a card is being finalized.
