Paddy Pimblett was unhappy with the way things unfolded at UFC 324. Pimblett fought Justin Gaethje, and he was unhappy with Joe Rogan Jr.’s commentary. Pimblett rewatched his fight with Gaethje, and he ensured to make his point clear after keen observation.
Pimblett delivered a blow that Rogan suspected it to be low. The MMA star was confident that his knee never caught Justin Gaethje that low. “The Baddy” feels that his opponent was acting just to get a breather.
“That knee to the body never hit him low. That hit him on the belt line, doesn’t touch his cup. We have seen [Kamaru] Usman doing something similar against Colby [Covington], didn’t we? Might be a tactic they use,” Paddy Pimblett said.
The fighter continued to call out Joe Rogan for his comment. Pimblett explained that it wasn’t the same when he did the same with Gaethje.
“The just kneed me in the balls. He just kneed me low, lad, and landed shots because of it, lad. And then Rogan saying that’s belt line. Well, if that is belt line, wasn’t the one I hit Gaethje with before belt line? Ah, watching it back, lad, just infuriating” Paddy Pimblett continued.
Paddy Pimblett Calls Out Benoit Saint-Denis For A Summer Bout
Pimblett is ready to enter the ring for another bout, and this time he wants to exchange fists with Benoit Saint-Denis. Pimblett’s loss to Gaethje was via unanimous decision, and he wants to rebound in an all-European clash.
Saint-Denis is coming off a great victory against Dan Hooker. Paddy Pimblett is unhappy that Saint-Denis moved one step ahead of him. He’s ready to go out there and fight by taking on his next opponent.
“I have had to lose one to come back stronger, and that’s what will happen. It pissed me off that Saint-Denis moved above me for beating Dan Hooker. Why has he moved above me for beating Dan Hooker? What’s gone on there?” Paddy Pimblett said.
“I will fight anyone, whichever name gets sent to me on a contract, I sign it and fight them. But Saint-Denis sounds like a good fight to me. Europe’s two best lightweights going against each other,” Pimblett continued.
“The Baddy” is ready to fight Arman Tsarukyan as long as he gets to do what he loves.
