Manny Pacquiao held nothing back when he dropped a scary warning to Floyd Mayweather. It’s been more than a decade since both squared off in the ring, and now an exciting showdown is set to take place.

Mayweather and Pacquiao will exchange fists at the Sphere in Las Vegas on September 19. The last time the two fighters faced off was in 2015, when Floyd Mayweather defeated Manny Pacquiao by unanimous decision.

It was a fight to remember as MMA fans were thrilled by Mayweather and Pacquiao’s battle. 11 years down the line, another rematch is what fans want. Manny Pacquiao made a bold statement to Mayweather that caught everyone’s attention.

“I want Floyd to be forever haunted by the one loss on his professional record,” Pacquiao said.

He further called their previous fight the biggest in boxing history, and fans deserve a rematch.

“Floyd and I gave the world what remains the biggest fight in boxing history,” Pacquiao said in a statement on Monday. “The fans have waited long enough — they deserve this rematch.”

Their fight in 2015 grossed an estimated $400 million. Many are anticipating their upcoming battle to be bigger.

Mayweather is pretty confident in himself, ready to set more records. Mayweahter just turned 49, and he wants to prove that age is just a number. His opponent, Manny Pacquiao, is 47. Many view this fight as balanced.

Coming back from retirement to get back in the right surprised several fans. Mayweather also believes that he will have a larger global broadcast.

“I still have what it takes to set more records in the sport of boxing,” Mayweather said. “From my upcoming Mike Tyson event to my next professional fight afterwards — no one will generate a bigger gate, have a larger global broadcast audience, and generate more money with each event — than my events. And I plan to keep doing it with my global media partner, CSI Sports/FIGHT SPORTS.”

MMA fans want to witness this exciting battle. Early predictions are getting underway, and former stars like Tim Bradley are siding with Floyd Mayweather to win.
