LeBron James’ customary ball toss is not easy to do. At least for Rui Hachimura. The Japanese player attempted James’ ball toss before the Los Angeles Lakers took on the Sacramento Kings. However, his attempt was nothing but a disaster.

Several NBA stars started to giggle, while Luke Doncic never approved of his teammate’s attempt. Hachimura was unable to replicate James’ signature move. After the game, Doncic dropped a brutally honest response.

“I don’t know. I don’t know. Never again. Never again. He was terrible,” Luka Doncic said.

The good thing is that the moment turned out to be humorous, as many Lakers stars found it to be funny. When Hachimura was asked about his failed attempt, he stated that he was not ready and refused to imitate LeBron James. However, everyone pointed at him, and he ended up taking the shot.

Luka Doncic dropped a bold response to his teammate, and he was certainly unimpressed with Hachimura.

Luka Doncic Keen On LeBron James Remaining On The Lakers

LeBron James’ contract will expire after the end of this season. Many speculate that James will part ways with the Lakers, while some feel he might retire. After the Lakers acquired Luka Doncic, he gradually started to emerge as the face of the franchise.

It’s safe to say that James is not the same player that he once was. It’s unclear if the Lakers will retain James or not. Yet, a recent report suggests that Doncic and Austin Reaves want him to remain on the team.

“The Lakers, sources told Lakers Daily, are ready to move on from the James era and build around Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves. However, if James doesn’t retire this offseason, he could still return to Los Angeles since Doncic and Reaves want him back,” Sources said

“Despite James, Doncic and Reaves struggling to co-exist as a ‘Big 3’ this season, the three players maintain a strong relationship, with one source saying that Doncic ‘wants to make things work with James’ and enjoys playing with the future Hall of Famer.”

The Lakers are clawing for playoff survival. They’re just two games back of the Nuggets in the West, and Luka Dončić is itching to team up with LeBron James for a title run.
