Cooper Flagg continues to make history, even as the Dallas Mavericks struggle to find wins.

The Mavs suffered a 113-107 loss to the Sacramento Kings on Saturday, dropping their second straight game and falling to 12-21 on the season. The defeat came against a Kings squad that was missing both stars Domantas Sabonis and Zach LaVine.

Despite the loss, Flagg once again stood out. The 19-year-old rookie finished with a game-high 23 points on 7-of-13 shooting, while also adding six rebounds, five assists and three 3-pointers in 34 minutes of action.

Following the game, the NBA highlighted Flagg’s latest accomplishment on social media.

Cooper Flagg Joins LeBron James, Luka Doncic in Elite Teenage Club

According to the league, the Mavericks rookie joined elite company with his recent stretch of performances.

“He joins LeBron James (5x) and Luka Doncic as the only players in NBA history age-19 or younger to record three straight 20-PT, 5-REB, 5-AST games,” the NBA posted on X.

Joining James and Doncic in such an exclusive group underscores the impact Flagg has made in his rookie season. Entering Saturday, he was averaging 19.4 points on 49.3% shooting, along with 6.4 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.2 steals per game.

While Flagg’s individual play has been a bright spot, Dallas continues to search for consistency. The loss dropped the Mavs to 12th in the Western Conference as they navigate what has been a challenging campaign so far.

Dallas will look to regroup quickly, as Flagg and the Mavericks wrap up their three-game road trip Monday night against the Portland Trail Blazers in their final game of the calendar year.
