“Keeping This Cougar on Her Toes”: Ciara Has Hilarious Message for Russell Wilson

Russell Wilson isn’t having the best season with the New York Giants. Since being benched early in the season, he has played a backup role behind Jaxson Dart and Jameis Winston, with no sign of returning to the QB1 role.

In the six games he has played this 2025 season, Wilson has recorded 831 yards and three touchdowns. He has also been intercepted thrice and sacked 10 times. The one-time Super Bowl champion has started in only three games for the Giants, but the team lost all those contests.

Despite not having the season he expected when he joined the Giants in the past offseason, Wilson is not letting it bother him. He’s also thriving in his personal life, with his wife Ciara showing her all-out support for him.

In fact, as Wilson celebrated his 37th birthday on Saturday, the singer had the best and funniest message for her partner on Instagram.

“On this day a Legend and the most beautiful man I’ve ever known was born!” Ciara wrote.

“It’s a gift to celebrate you, a gift to do life with you, a gift to wake up to you every morning. Here’s to you getting younger and keeping this Cougar on her toes lol. My Rock my Best Friend my Greatest Inspiration! 3+7 = 10 and that you are!:) Happy Birthday Baby @DangeRussWilson. I love you so much!”

Wilson and Ciara have been together since 2015, and they got married in 2016. They have three children together.

Ciara has always been supportive of Wilson’s career, and amid his struggles, she continues to have his back and bring positivity to his life.
